
Coffee Liqueur
| 2 | cups | water |
| 3 | cups | sugar |

| 1/3 | cup | instant coffee powder |

| 1 | | 4/5 quart bottle vodka (about 3 1/4 cups ) |
| 2 | tsp | vanilla |
| |

| Makes enough for 2 750-ml bottles |
In saucepan, combine water and sugar. Simmer gently, uncovered, 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Slowly stir in coffee powder. Cool. Stir in vodka and vanilla. Pour into jars or bottles. Cover, and let stand at room temperature for 2 weeks. This makes a nice gift.
